Savannah-Rain is a poet, and a minor. Don't buy her alcohol no matter what she says.
At the age of 16 (and a half), she's been performing poetry for three years. In 2011 she was on the slam team for Reynolds Secondary School in Victoria, BC. That year the team took first in both Victorious Voice (Victoria High School Slam Championships) and Hullabaloo (BC High School Slam Championships). In 2012, was on the Wild Card team in Hullabaloo, and despite meeting each other two hours before competing together (including group pieces), the team came in 6th. That year she also came 3rd in the Hullabaloo Individuals.
It should be noted that her poetry once made someone stop smoking.
She's a graduated 'manatee' of the 2012 IGNITE! Spoken Word Mentorships, studying with Brendan McLeod. Savannah is a teacher of workshops in nearly all the high schools in Victoria, a post card enthusiast, and an averagely socially awkward teenager.
If you've met her and you have a single decent bone in your body, she's probably found it, and loves you for all the ones it's surrounded by.
